Matteo Gragnani currently works at the Italian law firm R&P Legal in the field of Commercial and Intellectual Property Law. He is specialised in Geographical Indications on which he published numerous articles. He previously worked as a Legal Consultant for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on the Lisbon Agreement for the Protection of Appellations of Origin, as an academic assistant for Professor Christine Kaddous at the Centre d'études juridiques européennes (CEJE) of the University of Geneva (UNIMAIL-Faculty of Law), as an assistant of IP and trade officials at the EU Commission Delegation to U.N. and at the Italian Permanent Mission in Geneva following WIPO Lisbon Working Group and WTO (Doha) negotiations on TRIPS, Agriculture, Services and Trade Facilitation.
Matteo Gragnani studied Law at the University of Florence. In 2005 he graduated in Law with final mark 110/110 summa cum laude . In 2007 he obtained a master degree in International and European Law with final mark 110/110 summa cum laude. He is a member of the Italian Bar Association (2011).
